DESCRIPTION:
National Ugly Truck Day celebrates the four-wheeled beasts that only an owner could love and is a popular event for radio stations and car dealers, which will have contests to determine the ugliest truck.
The first Ugly Truck Contest appears to have occurred in 1989 at the behest of the pop group Duran Duran. It has since been a regular fixture on event calendars; Jason Lancaster champions it.
